How do we encourage each other to love more and do good works? Gather in community! Christian perseverance requires meeting together. We meet in worship, but also in many other ways and times.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Heb. 10:24)

We are called to be like Jesus.

It is “to organize your life around three basic goals: Be with Jesus. Become like Jesus. Do what he would do if he were you.” ~ John Mark Comer

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn within a large family. (Romans 8:28–29)

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matthew 11:29)

Go back out into our community. We go to serve, to share, and to encourage others to gather and grow with us.

And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.’ (Matthew 25:40)

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
